Jorge has been teaching Spanish professionally since 2004 and has worked with students of many nationalities, at all levels from beginner to advanced.

Jorge Sivit, italki English Teacher

Lessons Taught: 270+ / Students: 28+

Jorge has been a professional Spanish teacher since 2004 with thousands of hours of experience. He considers communication from day one essential, and recognizes the value of learning from one's own mistakes. However, he doesn't subscribe to the idea that adults should just learn languages through sheer exposure, and always provides situations in his lessons in which students can challenge their analytical and inference skills.

Jorge uses his deep knowledge of the Spanish grammar not to stuff learners with “rules” and tests, but to help them find patterns in language, design meaningful exercises, and create a map they can rely on.

Gracias Jorge: it's been a very good time, happy to have met you and I will text you for some lessons.

What methods would you recommend to someone who only has limited time each week i.e only a few hours to learn Spanish effectively?

I have difficulty saying the R sound, like "perro". Could you explain the R sounds?
